Cassidy Rose 6/15/95 to 9/15/09
I wanted to send in a picture of my beloved Cassidy Rose, we called her Cassy for short. I had her for an amazing and eventful 14 years and 3 months exactly. She was my best friend and will never be forgotten. She loved to lay outside in the cool grass and sleep on the couch where she felt like a queen. In her younger days she loved to chase ground squirrls for hours, and always loved a tasty treat! Cassy had quite a personality and wasn’t afraid to let it show, especially when she was mad at you. She always wanted to be with her family every minute of every day and loved going to our cabin up in Red Feather where she would go on long walks and take dips in the river while my Step Dad was fishing. Cassy was also known to jump up to the counter, get a loaf of bread or any other food, and eat the entire thing! She was a great snuggler and always let you know when you wern’t done giving her a nice rub with a cold nose to the inner arm. She never got to have puppies but was just like a mother to one of our other dogs who will miss her dearly. She was there so many nights to be the supporting friend I needed and the shoulder I needed to cry on. I will love you forever Cassidy Rose, thank you for the amazing memories you have left us with. We will be together again some day soon.
Thank you so much Dr. Cooney, you truly are a saint and have a very difficult career, but I believe you truly understand what a pet lover/parent is going through, as well as what the animal is feeling. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Sincerely,
Anna Willard and the rest of my family.
